Fine Art Photographer Frank van Driel [1966, Leiden, the Netherlands] holds a master degree in Change Management and was educated at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. Frank grew up spending his summers at a family farm estate in Beekbergen. Here he was taught how to ride horses, hunt, fish and farm. At a very early age Frank developed a keen eye for photography. He bought his first analog Hasselblad camera at the age of 19. He developed his films and printed analog black & white film and won several prizes.
After a short career at KPMG Management Consulting he picked up his cameras again and made a 180 degree career change in 2001. First Frank worked as a commercial photographer where he shot advertising campaigns and made high end commercial portraits. To realize his true ambition becoming a Fine Art Photographer.
In 2009 after his first personal project ‘Dutch Delight’ in 2007 Frank got discovered by different galleries and his works were shown at art shows in various countries. Nowadays Frank works as an autonomous artist, creating new series. Institutions and private international collectors are some of his buyers. All prints are individually signed and numbered.
